Shelter

The Eastern Shore Coalition Against Domestic Violence provides emergency shelter for survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Shelter is provided in an undisclosed location, in a residential setting. If it is not possible to shelter an individual in our residential shelter, other resources may be able to provide safe housing ESCADV’s clients. While in shelter, individuals will work with their advocate to develop plans for permanent, safe housing.

ESCADV’s shelter advocate, works with the individuals in shelter to maintain the shelter space as a safe environment. This includes regularly scheduled house meeting to discuss any concerns and opportunities for additional skill building.

ESCADV provides safe shelter to men, women and children and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sexual orientation, national origin, or age for participation in or receipt of services.
